Why Choose FS Unmanaged Switches

FS S1900 unmanaged switches received unanimous praise from customers. Based on customers' positive feedback and the S1900 series switches' special features, the reasons for choosing FS unmanaged switches are summarized in the following 5 sections.

More Intelligent and Robust Design for Better Performance

  • 10/100/1000Mbps Auto-Negotiation RJ45 Ports

FS S1900 unmanaged switches have seven models with 5/8/16/24 ports, including both PoE+ switches and non-PoE switches, which can meet the diverse needs of customers. The switch provides auto-negotiation RJ45 ports. All ports can sense the link speed of network devices (10, 100 or 1000 Mbps) and intelligently adjust to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. What's more, all ports feature non-blocking wire-speed forwarding to maximize network performance.

10/100/1000Mbps Auto-Negotiation RJ45 Ports

  • 6KV Lightning Protection

16- and 24-port models provide 6KV lightning protection for all ports and power which helps to prolong the product life and ensures the normal transmission of data.

  • Smart Energy Savings

FS innovatively provides power-efficient switches: 5- and 8-port models are IEEE 802.3az compliant unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switches. IEEE 802.3az enables the switch to cut down on power consumption during periods of low data activity by setting unused ports into sleep mode, saving a substantial amount of power.

Smart Energy Savings

Advanced Function Ensures Reliable Data Transmission

According to the Ixia test report based on RFC 2544, all FS 5 port and 8 port unmanaged switches have passed Ixia performance test, which means those switches are quality-assured network switches with high throughput, no frame loss, and low latency. What's more, FS S1900 unmanaged switches support IEEE 802. 3x flow control which helps minimize packet loss and provides reliable data transmission.

Easy Operation

  • Plug and Play, No Configuration Needed

FS S1900 unmanaged switches support plug-and-play, which makes setup and deployment easier than ever before, no software installation or configuration needed. Wired network is available after plugging an Ethernet cable effortlessly without time-consuming and laborious operations.

Plug and Play, No Configuration Needed

  • Support Port Auto MDI/MDIX

The built-in auto-MDI/MDIX ports in FS S1900 unmanaged switches provide fast plug-and-play setup and eliminate the need for a crossover cable. The built-in auto-MDI/MDIX can also detect the link speed of the attached device and makes adjustments according to the compatibility and performance requirements, enabling the switch to be backward compatible with legacy network devices.

Powerful PoE and PoE+ Offerings

FS 1900 unmanaged PoE+ switches, including 5 port unmanaged PoE+ switches, 8 port unmanaged PoE+ switches, and 16 port unmanaged PoE+ switches, support both data and power transmission on a single Ethernet cable, and power adapters are not needed anymore, saving more installation costs. With PoE+ ports, FS S1900 unmanaged PoE+ switches can automatically detect and supply power with those IEEE 802.3af/at compliant Powered Devices (PD) such as AP, IP Cameras or IP Phones, etc.

Multiple User Scenarios

  • Home

Considering the comfort at home and family members' knowledge of communication devices, customers who need home switches pay more attention to the switches' low noise and easy operation. FS S1900 unmanaged switches feature a fanless design, which ensures silent operation and no noise disturbance in resting and relaxing time. With built-in auto-MDI/MDIX ports, the switches support plug-and-play, ensuring all users can operate them with ease.

  • SMBs

To facilitate work and management, SMBs have various connectivity requirements such as video monitoring, teleconferencing and WiFi coverage. FS S1900 unmanaged PoE+ switches are fully compatible with IP cameras, access points, IP phones, computers, printers, and more, supporting a wide range of enterprise applications. At the same time, FS S1900 series switches provide powerful performance and reliability, making them the optimal choice for SMBs.

  • Lag-free Games

For game players, there is nothing more important than network performance and smoothness that is the key to winning in addition to their gaming skills. FS S1900 unmanaged switches are equipped with auto-negotiation 10/100/1000Mbps ports and support wire-speed forwarding to maximize network performance.
