FS Launches 16-Port Managed PoE+ Switch for SMB

May 27th, FS News – FS has announced the official launch of the 16-port managed PoE+ switch - S3260-16T4FP, which is easier for deploying wireless access points (AP) and IP-based terminal network equipment.

These days, wireless APs and surveillance cameras have filled every corner of life and work, especially in enterprises, hospitals, campuses, hotels. With the increasing number of access devices, problems like traffic congestion, insufficient power supply, high maintenance costs have been troubling many users. Based on these needs, FS launches innovative 16-port PoE switch featuring simple operation and management, convenient networking, high security, low construction cost, which is designed for helping enterprises and hotels build an intelligent, efficient, and secure network system.

“Customers often tell us that they have a PoE switch with either limited or excessive ports. What they really need is the one with just the right ports and sufficient power output.” FS Product Director says. “Our new S3260-16T4FP switch can be a big help. Featuring a versatile port configuration, it provides optical fiber connectivity flexibility and meets different network expand needs. More strikingly, it offers a total power budget of 250W, a maximum of 30W per port under the IEEE 802.3at PoE standard, and 15.4W under the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard. It effectively solved the insufficient power supply issues many users concerned.”

The S3260-16T4FP 16-Port managed PoE+ switch is equipped with 16x 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, 2x RJ45/SFP combo ports, 2x SFP uplinks. Furthermore, FS S3260-16T4FP has an extraordinary L2+ switching capacity of 56Gbps and a forwarding rate of 30Mpps, which enables the access links to run more efficiently. Based on the high-performance hardware and FSOS platform, it supports various L2+ functions such as ACL, QoS, flexible management modes, security mechanisms. The switch has passed the Ixia tests.
