The most straightforward way to connect 100G traffic is by using standard transceivers and one of the most popular modules is QSFP28. Among the different types of 100G QSFP28 optical transceiver modules, QSFP28 LR4 is often chosen for its long-distance transmission and low power consumption in 100G Ethernet. This article will introduce the basic information about QSFP28 LR4 and provide compatible switch solutions for the module.

Brief Introduction of FS QSFP28 LR4 Module

FS 100G QSFP28 LR4 is a hot-pluggable, four-channel, and full-duplex optical transceiver module, providing superior performance for 100G applications up to 10km over SMF with a working bandwidth of 1295nm to 1310nm. It provides an ideal solution for super-large-scale data centers, high-performance computing networks, enterprise core and distribution layers, campus networks etc. For more detailed information, please visit here: Overview of QSFP28 LR4 Optical Transceiver.
