New Products with FS FHD® Series: Universal Polarity MTP® Cassettes

May 2023, FS News - FS launched four new FHD® universal polarity cassettes, MTP®-12 to LC cassettes(OS2 single-mode and OM4 multimode), and 2×MTP®-12 to LC cassettes(OS2 single-mode and OM4 multimode) included, to enrich FHD® MTP fiber cassettes series and offer more options for customers.

Universal Polarity Simplifies Cabling Complex

The new MTP®-12 to LC universal polarity cassettes allow for the same interchangeable cassette on both ends of a Method B trunk in a fiber channel, ensuring consistent polarity, and streamlining fiber cabling installs and maintenance.

More Flexible Cabling Options with FHD® Series

Four new cassettes enrich the FHD® (FS High Density) MTP® cassette series and can be used with FHD® fiber enclosure. The new MTP® fiber cassettes come in two types, one rear 12-fiber MTP® port connection and 6 duplex LC ports in the front, and 2 rear 12-fiber MTP® ports and 12 duplex LC ports in the front. Installed on an FHD® fiber enclosure, four MTP®-12 to LC cassettes can route up to 48 fiber connections in a 1U rack. Four 2×MTP®-12 to LC cassettes can route up to 96 fiber connections, making them an ideal choice for high-density cabling in data centers or telecom rooms.

High Quality As Always

Universal polarity cassettes use US Conec MTP® adapter and Corning fiber. And LC ports adopt zirconia ceramic sleeves to ensure a consistent low loss. All products conform with ISO14001/ISO9001/CE/RoHS Compliant. The new MTP®-12 cassettes enable high-density, cost-effective 10G deployments and the simplest migration to 40, 100, and even 400G.
