Routing Protocol:
-
IS-IS – Efficiently maintaining routing information and selecting paths via link-state exchanges and shortest path calculations to make it ideal for service providers and large enterprises due to its scalability, flexibility, and fast convergence.
-
OSPFv2/OSPFv3 Graceful Restart – Enhancing network stability and reliability by allowing routers to seamlessly restore neighbor relationships and maintain forwarding tables during restarts.
Network Security:
-
IPv6 Source Guard – Strengthening network security by verifying the legitimacy of IPv6 source addresses on each port, preventing address spoofing and ensuring only authorized users can communicate.
-
IPv6 DHCP Guard – Enhancing network security by identifying and blocking unauthorized DHCP server messages, and preventing clients from receiving IP addresses and configurations from unauthorized sources.
-
DHCPv6 Snooping – By monitoring and analyzing DHCPv6 traffic, building and maintaining a binding table to prevent unauthorized DHCPv6 servers and malicious activities, ensuring clients securely obtain IPv6 addresses and configuration.
Lossless Network:
-
PFC Watchdog – Detecting and automatically recovering from PFC deadlocks, ensuring network stability and traffic flow.
-
ECMP Hash Enhancements(Dynamic Load Balance) – Optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability by dynamically distributing traffic across multiple paths or resources.
Expanded Hardware Compatibility
The beta update supports a wider range of FS switch models, including:
Switch Models | Ports | Switching Capacity | Airflow |
