Introduction

Industrial grade transceivers are transceiver modules used in harsh environments where requirements on working temperature are strict. FS provides 100G QSFP28 industrial grade transceivers to help build flawless network connections in harsh conditions. Here FS 100G industrial transceivers are introduced.

100GBASE-SR4

FS 100GBASE-SR4 industrial transceiver supports 70m and 100m transmission distance respectively over OM3 and OM4 multimode cables. The transceiver can work in the temperature range between -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F), which is much wider than commercial transceivers. It operates at 850nm wavelength. FS 100GBASE-SR4 is equipped with MTP/MPO-12 interface and must interoperate with 12-fiber MTP/MPO cables.

100GBASE-LR4

FS 100GBASE-LR4 industrial transceiver supports link lengths of 10km over SMF. The transceiver is compliant with IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4, IEEE 802.3bm, QSFP28 MSA and is suitable for applications in 100GBASE Ethernet, Telecom, and 5G Wireless Network. The operating temperature of 100GBASE-LR4 is the same as that of 100GBASE-SR4 - between -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F). It interoperates with optical cables terminated with LC duplex connectors.
