FS switches, as an easy, reliable, and future-proof network solution, have been well-received by our users. If you're considering FS switches and want to know a specific model or compare several models, this post can be a guide for you. Let's see what FS users say about our switches.

10G SFP+ Enterprise Switches

24-Port 10 Gigabit SFP+ Switches

FS S5860-20SQ L3 Fully Managed Pro Switch — most cost-effective switch with 25G/40G uplinks for SMBs and enterprises.

“By leveraging Broadcom’s software base, it seems as though FS was able to bring a reasonably well-featured switch to the market that even has features like a web interface. What is truly unique is the port count. With 20x SFP+, 4x SFP28, and 4x QSFP+ ports we have a solid mix of 10/25/40GbE networking. There are few switches in the market with this port count which is a differentiator itself. Generally, the S5860-20SQ offered more than we were expecting."

FS S3900-24T4S 24-Port L2+ Fully Managed Switch — cost-effective switch for SOHO and SMBs.

“I was lucky enough to review the FS S3900-24T4S Layer 2 managed switch. This switch has 24 x 1 Gigabit ports and 4 x SFP+ 10 Gigabit ports, has dual power supplies, and is completely fanless. For the cost, this switch has more features and more ports than switches costing the same or in some cases costing more. I was pleasantly surprised after testing this device and it exceeded my expectations."

FS S3910-24TF 24-Port L2+ Fully Managed Pro Switch — high-reliability switch with OSPF, VRRP, DHCP server features for SMBs and enterprise edge.

“The FS S3910-24TF was designed to handle larger networks (enterprise-level, but should also work for SMBs) and this becomes clear after checking out its main features. It supports the management of multiple Ethernet switches using stacking (up to 4 devices), it has VLANs, QoS, link aggregation, port mirroring, and other features expected from a smart-managed switch, but what sets it apart from other similarly-priced devices (besides the stacking) is the L3 features that allow you to perform routing on the switch."

1G RJ45 PoE Enterprise Switches

8-Port | 10-Port RJ45 PoE Switches

FS S3150-8T2FP 8-Port Gigabit L2+ Fully Managed PoE+ Switch — whisper-quiet fanless managed PoE+ switch ideal for noise-sensitive environments.

“It is a fanless design so this will work well in any home or office environment where you may live/work in the same room as your hardware. Unlike some big brand-name switches, you are free to use any transceiver you like on the SFP ports. FS has developed their own switch OS, or at least skinned one. It is easy to navigate and has all the features you want for a smart-managed switch. In my scenario, which I guess will be similar to many home/SOHO and small business environments, is the ability to set up VLANs allowing me to separate certain parts of the network away from each other."

— James Smythe

FS S3410-10TF-P 10-Port Gigabit L2+ Fully Managed Pro PoE+ Switch — energy-efficient PoE+ switch with OSPF/VRRP/DHCP-server features for SMBs and enterprises.

“The FS S3410-10TF-P manages to hold its ground, offering the possibility to add PoE devices to the network, it has a couple of SFP ports for interference-free long-distance communication and good performance (especially considering the price tag). The software is very much the same as on the S3910-24TF, and you will have no trouble using the FS S3410-10TF-P for your small business network and it’s very much possible to use it in a home environment due to the affordable, yet reliable nature of the FS hardware."

— MARK B

“Using this switch I had no issues it worked great and if you're thinking of grabbing one then there really is only one more thing to discuss. The elephant in the room and that's the price. It's certainly not the cheapest eight-port switch out there but this one does have two SFP ports, is fully managed, is rack-mountable, and has a total of 10 Ethernet ports even though two of them don't provide power. If you're looking for a POE switch with all of that then it's a pretty competitive option."

24-Port RJ45 PoE Switches

FS S3410-24TS-P 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet L2+ Fully Managed Pro PoE+ Switch — advanced stackable PoE+ switch with OSPF/VRRP/DHCP-server features for SMBs.

“I came across the "FS 3410-24TS-P" in search. A PoE+ switch with 24 RJ45 1Gbit ports, 2 SFP and 2 SFP+ ports, which allows a meaningful connection to existing 10G structures. A special highlight is certainly the two interchangeable power supplies, which you never actually get in this price category. The order via the online shop was done quickly and easily. The payment was made via PayPal. The two PoE+ switches came from a warehouse in Asia and took about 10 days to travel to Germany. I ordered two more switches (S3900-24T4S) which came from a German warehouse and arrived a day after the order. The switches were perfectly and safely packaged."
