Are you still worried about the lack of wireless coverage in large areas of industrial parks? Are you troubled by the high-density user congestion in sports venues? Are you depressed by the poor wireless signal caused by the sometimes harsh outdoor conditions on city streets? From industrial parks to sports stadiums to city streets, the demand for efficient and stable wireless connections continues to grow. This article will take a deep dive into the most ideal outdoor wireless access point to help you find a solution that can meet the needs of high-density users, has strong anti-interference capabilities, and is easy to operate and manage.

Why You Need FS AP-T565 Wi-Fi 6 Outdoor Access Point?

Most indoor wireless access points are designed to be used in temperature-controlled and dry environments and are therefore not waterproof, moisture-proof, or resistant to inclement weather. If they are placed for outdoor use, it will not only result in damage to the device but will also seriously affect the stability and performance of the wireless connection. Therefore, outdoor wireless access points specially designed for the wireless needs of outdoor environments are critical. They must not only provide strong wireless coverage and high-speed connectivity but must also be able to operate stably in a variety of harsh conditions.

AP-T565 supports protocols such as 802.11ax, 802.11ac Wave2, 802.11ac Wave1 and 802.11n. Using hardware-independent dual-radio design, the whole machine can provide a maximum access rate of 2.402 Gbps; when working in 2.4G+5G mode, the whole machine can provide a maximum access rate of 1.775 Gbps, and high-speed wireless makes performance no longer a bottleneck.

Furthermore, weatherproof and temperature-hardened, AP-T565 access points deliver cost-effective Wi-Fi 6 wireless connectivity in outdoor and environmentally challenging locations. Designed to survive the harshest outdoor environments, the FS AP-T565 has IP68-protected housing that can withstand extremely high and low temperatures, constant moisture, and precipitation. They are fully sealed to keep out airborne contaminants, and all electrical interfaces include industrial-strength surge protection. This robust design ensures reliable performance and longevity, making AP-T565 ideal for deployments in industrial sites, sports venues, and other demanding outdoor settings.

Key Features and Advantages of FS AP-T565

1. Incredible Efficiency

  • High Throughput and Wide Coverage

The AP-T565 outdoor wireless access point supports dual-band operation with speeds up to 2400 Mbps. It offers 2x2 MU-MIMO on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, ensuring high throughput and broad coverage. The built-in high-power omnidirectional antenna provides 360-degree coverage, eliminating dead zones and ensuring reliable connectivity across large areas.

  • OFDMA High-Density User Access

AP-T565 supports the OFDMA function of the 802.11ax standard, which divides the WLAN channel into multiple narrower sub-channels, and each user occupies one or more sub-channels. The AP schedules multiple users to receive and send packets at the sametime, reducing competition and backoff between users, reducing network delay, and improving network efficiency. In a high-density deployment and access environment, the average rate per user can be up to four times that of 802.11ac.

  • Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO)

AP-T565 outdoor wireless access point supports downlink MU-MIMO just like Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2) APs. The added benefit is the ability to multiply the number of clients that can now send traffic, thus optimizing client-to-AP spatial stream diversity. The MU-MIMO technology makes it ideal for high-density environments. Whether it’s a bustling city street, or a large public venue, the AP-T565 can handle the high device density with ease, providing uninterrupted, high-speed connectivity to all users.

  • BSS Color Spatial Multiplexing

AP-T565 supports the BSS Color spatial multiplexing function of the 802.11ax standard, identifies the basic service levels (BSS, BasicService Set) of different WLANs in the network through different BSS Colors, and further divides them into internal BSS (the BSS towhichthe device belongs) and external BSS, and maintain different packet receiving and sending thresholds respectively.

When receiving a packet, if it is determined according to the BSS Color that it is an external BSS packet and the signal strength is lower than the receiving threshold of the external BSS, the packet will not be received, but the internal BSS packet will not be affected. BSS Color spatial multiplexing technology can realize channel multiplexing in a high-density scenario environment, and alleviate the influence of co-channel interference in actual network deployment to a greater extent.

2. Simple and Secure Access

  • User Level Security Access

AP-T565 outdoor wireless access point supports Web, 802.1x, MAC address, local authentication and other user access authentication methods for customers to choose. Comply with the standard network access control system, from user access, authorization, host compliance to network behavior monitoring, network attack prevention and other aspects, strictly define network access, and through this control, achieve the construction concept of "network access is authentication, network access is security".

  • Flexible Virtual AP Technology

Through virtual wireless access point (Virtual AP) technology, the AP-T565 can provide a maximum of 32 virtual APs; each radio card can provide a maximum of 16 virtual APs. Isolated, and can flexibly configure separate authentication methods and encryption mechanisms for each SSID.

  • Wireless Security

With FS network wireless controller, AP-T565 has a series of wireless security protection functions such as WIDS (wireless intrusion detection), radio frequency interference location, rogue AP countermeasures, anti-ARP spoofing, DHCP security protection, etc., which fundamentally builds reliable and secure wireless network for users.

3. Flexible Operation and Management

  • Flexible Switching of Fat and Fit Mode

AP-T565 outdoor wireless access point supports the flexible switching of Fat/Fit mode. In Fit mode, it can realize zero-configuration installation and use, and perfect remote management also greatly improves the efficiency of wireless network operation and maintenance management.

  • Web Interface Administration

AP-T565 provides the web management interface of AC and AP, which not only can easily get wireless configuration, but also canoperatethe wireless network as a whole. Through the web interface of the wireless controller--AC-1004, AC-7072, it can not only manage APs but also manage users connected to APs, and can limit the speed and limit of users. The behavior of users connecting to the network is convenient for the operation and maintenance personnel to plan and operate the wireless.

  • Airware Cloud Management

The AP-T565 Wi-Fi 6 outdoor access point is compatible with the Airware Cloud Management platform, which allows for centralized, real-time monitoring and management. It also supports cloud delivery, cloud operations, cloud inspection, and cloud diagnosis, simplifying network maintenance and optimizing performance.
