Ensuring the cleanliness of fiber optic connections is vital for optimal performance in optical communication networks. Whether your optical interfaces are installed in racks, boxes, or subrack terminals, fiber optic cleaning has never been easier. FS One-Push Fiber Cleaner, features a compact design specifically tailored for fiber optic cables, adapters, and transceivers. Curious about how to use FS One-Push Fiber Cleaners? Dive into this article now!

FS One-Push Fiber Cleaner Overview

One-Push Fiber Cleaner is used to clean connectors in fiber optic cables, adapters and transceivers. By inserting the fiber optic cleaner into the connector, a mechanical pushing can be acted to advance the optical grade cleaning tape. Simultaneously, the cleaning tip rotates to ensure effective yet gentle cleaning of the fiber end-face. Depending on the type of fiber optic connector, FS has three types of fiber optic cleaners, 1.25mm fiber optic cleaner for LC/MU connector, 2.5mm fiber optic cleaner for SC/ST/FC/LSH connector, and MPO/MTP® cleaner for MPO/MTP® connector. FS one-push fiber cleaner works with two brands: NEOCLEAN®-M and US Conec IBC™. The following are specific descriptions and user guides for the two brands of cleaners for different connectors.

FS LC/MU One-Push Fiber Cleaners User Guide

1.25mm one-push cleaner is an easy-to-use option for cleaning MU and LC connectors in adapters and exposed 1.25mm ferrules. Each in-adapter cleaner delivers up to 750 cleanings to remove a variety of contaminants including dust and oils. FS LC/MU one-push fiber cleaner is designed for cleaning LC fiber patch cables, LC FHD® fiber splice cassettes, and LC FHD® fiber adapter panels, and optical transceivers with LC connectors. It is compatible with FS's entire range of LC connector products.

The US Conec IBC™ Brand Cleaner LC² is specially designed for LC duplex 1.25mm connectors for UPC and APC polishes, with half the cleaning time of simplex cleaning tools. Below is a video guide for using the LC/MU Optical One-Push Pen Cleaner.
